Just after Hurricane season Nov. 1st 2008, we left New York City, offshore, for a non-stop trip to Florida. We arrived in Jacksonville, Florida, in 5 days and 3 hours non-stop ocean passage. We endured a 36 hour tropical depression ocean storm. This was part of our re-positioning and delivery of Black Diamond down to Florida, and then to the Bahamas, where we would spend a few months over the winter of 2008. We are hoping to be able to do this again in 2013/14.
