Florida to the little Bahama Bank.

Today I went across the ATLANTIC OCEAN! So we can go to a place called Little Bahama Bank! So it took us more than 10 hours to go there. I know this because, in the middle of the Ocean my dad told me so, I was sleeping for most of it. Then my dad said we are here. But, I think he is confused because I looked around, and I did not see any land. But the colour of the Ocean changed from dark blue & purple to a light blue. He said we are in the Bahamas waters now, but still need another 5 hours to get to the closest land. So I got use to counting hours.

Au jour’ hui, je suis aller a un plase so nome est putie Bahama Bank. Oui le nome est pas Bahama parce que, je suis est arreter a Bahamas pas au jour hi. Je suis peche a un ligne a peche de! Cuba!

The Beach of Spanish Cay!

We arrived in a marina on an island called Spanish Cay. Cay is pronounced Key, or in Canada and in French Quay!

We heard about the beach which I was very happy about. It took us a week to get here from Jacksonville Florida where we got off the plane. So we rented a golf cart! This is what we did… We went to the beach of course. We took pictures and videos that you may see here. But my dad and I went snorkeling, saw sand dollars, and sting rays, a conch shell with a living animal inside. It was very fun!

P.S. I am still making comic books for school. I made two new ones. Book I and Book X pac mac comic. Stay tuned, because we will try to update it fast. Just so you know I finished reading 7 novels so far. My parents had to buy me more. Four in Florida and 2 more in Marsh Harbour Bahamas. Please make comments for my blog. I love taking time off from my trip to answer them. Comments might not come up right after you write them, because my dad has to approve them. But I am sure as soon as we see them, we will approve them. We don’t have internet everywhere here.

I am having a great time!

    Hi Thomas,

Your blog is very interesting! It sounds as if you are having a great adventure in the sunny south. The photos are terrific and you look like you are having a wonderful time.

It has been raining for a couple of days and most of the snow is gone but we did have a beautiful white Christmas, the snow is coming again tomorrow so we are back to skiing and shoveling.

Bon chance en toutes votre voyages. J’espere que votre visite au Nassau est merveilleux.

    Big hugs,

    Ethel

Hi, Thomas. I finally took some time to follow your adventures! You have sure been having lots of them. I think I like the beach pictures the best because it has been cold & snowy here (except for 2 days of rain!), and it’s nice to see somewhere warm & sunny. See you soon in Sunday School.

    Love,
    Mrs. Day
