Day 1a – Manhattan, Liberty Landing

Day 1 – Sailed down to Liberty Landing Marina

We left in the morning with the tides, and sailed down at about 8knots to Liberty Landing Marina at the foot of Manhattan by the Statue of Liberty. We met up with Falcon GT from Bronte Harbour, Ontario, who is sailing all the way to Australia. You can check his blog at http://www.sv-falcongt.blogspot.com

The weather looks good for the next few days, so we are planning to pull out this evening, and head into the ocean. You won’t hear from us for a couple of days. But watch the Live GPS Tracker for positioning updates.

Here are a few pics from the trip down from Petersen’s.
